Yeah, and there's LOTS of those baby boomers! Without major reform the
SS system and the healthcare system are going to be fscked. Soon!

Then you are doing something wrong or your machine
is the problem. Sound familiar?

Seriously, try using VMWare.... so much better than VPC 2007.

I have PCLinuxOS installed in a vm and also on a partition on another
desktop, it replaced an Ubuntu install I had.

My next "project" will be to finally give FreeBSD 6.2 a try.

It's the attitude most fanatics display about their cause/crusade.
Or, they're just close-minded and ignorant. Actually,
I think in order to be a true fanatic or zealot, requires
those two things and a dash or bucket of lunacy.

Well, well, well...now we've arrived at a tipping point. You've now just
admitted (finally!) that you can't really know what an os is like
without installing it.
We all have known and believed that fact from the beginning. It's good
that you've finally figured that one out!
Therefore you don't really know what Microsoft's Vista Operating System
is really like because you've never installed it.
So please, from this point on, refrain from referring to Vista in any
objective manner and stop comparing Vista to that junk linux toy os as
you have no real, honest point of reference, as you've just admitted.

First honest post we've ever seen from you.
Thank you.
Frank

You may now post your lying, deceptive response below...hahahah...lol!

Try VMware, it installs and runs great under there.

That's it? That's the BIG advantage? There is free food and lodging
available at your local homeless shelter also. Are you using it?
It's better than buying your own house and food because it's free!

So you finally admit you're one of those dummies that can't figure out
HOW to install Linux. Thanks for sharing.

The FACT is Linux is often a superior OS for many uses, the problem is
no major software developers support it hence it isn't suitable for a
lot of users that use high end Windows software where there simply
aren't any really good alternatives...yet. That's the catch 22.

Don't be so ridiculous. Comparing housing and even food to
some fukkin piece of software is just plain ignut.

However, if the housing and food was of the same quality or
better and was being giving away for free- could you blame
folks for at least trying it?

Yes, because it's a piece of crap. Funny how I had no problems installing
BeOS in VPC. Or OS/2. Or red Hat Linux.

Freedom from WPA, WGA, viruses and malware. Not to mention the fact that
Ubuntu doesn't require the hardware horsepower that Vista does. And,
it's FREE, can be copied, installed on as many computers as you like ...

I have used and loved Windows since DOS. I would even buy Vista if it
didn't come with the anti piracy and DRM crap.
