We all wonder that about you Frankie.

For someone that pretends to own and run a marketing company you seem
to have an awful lot of free time for you to rant and rave in this
newsgroup.

Probably for your stated reason ... to straighten out the losers. In this
particular case, it's the Wintards he's trying to straighten out.
Unfortunately, you're beyond hope. So just ignore the thread and go do
something useful, like defrag your Sea Drive or update your virus
definitions.

Shake Hands With,

In a Windows support group, yes it does.

The sign on the door does not say "help" or "support". It says "general".

You do know what "general" means, don't you? If not, ask your daddy, Frank.

Alias

Re: Preaching Ubuntu .....

You can try to justify it all day long, but what it comes down to is: Alias
is peddling Ubuntu. For the reading challenged (Alias), it is my
understanding that the group is microsoft.public.WINDOWS.VISTA.general.
Nowhere does it say Ubuntu general.

If you need more clarification, I'm sure Frank and Adam will chime in!

I am offering general help for those who might want to consider an
alternative. If you don't like it, use self control and don't read my
posts. If you have no self control, use the kill file feature in your
news reader.

Oh really? I have no problem maintaining a productive business and being
active in multiple ng's.
Being the boss has its advantages plus running a well oiled machine
helps immensely.
I oversee, supervise and approve final outputs for production.
I attend meetings early in the AM...but no longer do color sign offs at
2-3AM. I have excellent associates who will proly buy me out as I
approach retirement from full active work. So I'm winding down my work
schedule so-to-speak. But I do keep very busy.
You also don't really know all of what we do as you keep referring to a
"marketing" company.
But who cares what you think. I sign on the front of the check.
Plus right now I'm on VACATION!!!

Still the linux loser a*shole huh doris?

Re: Preaching Ubuntu .....

Sorry, can't do that. Just like you think you need to "HELP" people here,
you should use self control and troll in the Ubuntu group if you really want
to help people. In the vista.general group you are just annyoing people
with your Ubuntu preaching.

If you don't like it, move to the Ubuntu group.

Reading problems my little spanish boy...hehehe...the sigh on the door
also says "Vista" not linux.
"Vista"...not linux..."Vista"...not linux...repeat after me little
spanish boy..."Vista"...not linux.
Got it?
Good, now don't forget..."Vista"...not linux.
Frank

Re: Preaching Ubuntu .....

I think I know why he keeps coming here. I heard that in his village in
Spain, someone changed the dictionary and made the definition of Vista =
Ubuntu. Someone needs to set him straight !

Alternative to Vista: Linux.

Alias

Re: Preaching Ubuntu .....

An alternative to a workhorse product (Windows) is NOT a toy OS like
Linux/Ubuntu. I'm talking desktop not business here.
