Windows wont boot after installing a second HDD

I got an HDD from an old laptop of mine. I think it still has the old OS and things. I installed it and when I went to boot my pc there wasnt anything on the screen and both my keyboard and mouse turned on and off (I saw it from the lights). Then I went on bios and changed boot order. I booted it once again then theres this windows loading screen (black background, windows logo and dots loading) and it stuck there forever. I removed the HDD and everything booted up normally as it should.
