When i unplugged my HDD windows wont boot

Alright, so i was gonna swap my hdd to ssd and then i did so and when i try to boot windows it wont so i knew my windows boot manager had to be in the hdd so i cant help. i have to look in google i said and so do i. i searched and no answer, my bios was legacy so there will be no efi partition which it almost gave me an answer to the problem and thus dont tell me to buy a new motherboard i have no moneyEdit: i have 2 ssd and the ssd i was talking about was a spare
