Windows explorer will only show me some of the folders on networked drive after update 24h2

I've got a strange one I cannot understand. I have a NAS mapped as a network drive. With the new 24h2 update I can only view a maximum of 1018 items in the parent directory in explorer, the previous 23h2 update did not give me this problem. On a windows 10 machine it shows the full directory and all the items (a few thousand folders). I experimented by creating a bunch of new folders using the Windows 11 file explorer and it will create them and the item number does increase, but if I refresh the parent folder it immediately decreases the amount of items to 1018 items and the folders I created
