Windows cannot find Path for Photo app

Hi, I cannot access Windows 'Photo' app. I right click a photo and side menu comes up. I click open with Photo. Window appears stating 'Windows cannot find ( correct path shown) ,check spelling try again. I have tried system restore as I had updated current update. This has not rectified problem. I also tried other picture files and they will not open in Photo. I can open in other apps but they are editing apps that do not give facility to scroll from one photo to next. I can access files and see icons of photos. Can anyone enlighten me please. I think it may be due to a broken reg link but n
