Windows 24H2 Hell and Rollback

I very stupidly relied on Copilot, the Microsoft Virtual Stupidity, to find out if the problems with Windows 11 Pro 24H2 were now fixed. I was assured by it, and by the links it provided to Microsoft URLs, that the only remaining issues were ones that would not affect me. Boy, was I wrong. I have just gone through several days of hell on both my desktop, a Dell XPS-8960, and my laptop, an MSI GS76 Stealth, with constant crashes and problems that restoring from restore points, from system image backups, and in-place updates would not fix.
