Windows 10 installation on hard drive on automatic repair loop after booting into windows on a external hard drive

While booted into windows on my main hard drive, I plugged in my external usb drive with windows to go on it and booted into it using the Use a device option on the advanced startup. I boot into it, use my computer for about an hour or two and then shut it down. I then come back to turn it on again, with my windows to go usb disconnected, and then it tried booting like normally but got stuck on a black screen with the scroll wheel, for well over an hour. Then after that, I force restart into windows recovery environment to run startup repair. It runs check disk and supposedly fixes errors on t
