Windows 10 home locking login EVEN THOUGH PIN WAS CORRECT. How to turn off 2 hour account lockout?

I was locked out of my PC for incorrectly entering my PIN too many times (which is odd as I didn't type it in wrong). After waiting the 2 hours, I tried to log in and very carefully typed in my PIN, viewing the PIN to make sure it was correct. My machine still refused to let me in and locked me out for another 2 hours. I use my laptop for work every day, so I am 100% certain of my PIN and absolutely did not put it in wrong after the first lockout.My machine again did not recognise my PIN as correct this morning and I was only able to get back into machine by going through the forgot my PIN opt
