WHY? Why must I sign in every time I try to open a question in this Community?

I have a Chrome tab open to Microsoft Community where I go to the community to address serious questions. Every time I click on "Ask a New Question", suddenly as it never happened before, I must sign in. Obviously, since I have a question open, I am signed in so why must I do it again?> I believe there is an issue causing this so if I am right, what is it and how do I get it corrected?
