Why cant I install Minecraft Bedrock

I have been spending the past 30min try to install Minecraft Bedrock on my PC. I have Java and I have bought the Deluxe edition but whenever I try to install this Deluxe edition on the store, it just stops installing and nothing happens. And then when I go to the launcher and just try and install it from there, the progress bar just says idle. I was only able to install the preview edition but I don't care for that. I want to play the actual game. I have changed my default download location to my C drive instead of the D drive but that didn't change a thing unlike what I've seen other posts sa
