Whatsapp Desktop not showing images or downloading voice notes:-

In my laptop i have downloaded Whatsapp for desktop, it's the app I use the most for communication. It's not opening any images or playing any voicenotes. Any time I try to download an image or play a newly sent voice note, I get the message "Couldn't download image/voicenote. Try again. If the problem keeps happening, try turning off wi-fi or vpn, or connecting to a different Wi-Fi network" I don't have a VPN, whatsapp desktop is working properly on all the other laptops in the house, I tried using my phone as a hotspot, resetting the router, reinstalling the whatsapp app from the Microsoft
