Verification code not arriving

Hi. When a verification code is requested to open my email it never arrives.The code is being sent to the same email that I am trying to open. Using my phone to check the mail address:* I have tried the Junk folder.* Sending a test to same email which arrives.* Waiting more than 24 hrs to clear but same result. There is no other choice of where to send the code otherwise I would try that. I am stumped. Glen
