Something went wrong, unable to set up your pin

Hi all. I've replaced a motherboard in my PC like for like, but on booting into Windows it says my old pin isn't valid. I've created a new one in the past without issue and also have authorisation linked to my smartphone. However when I click create a new pin and it asks ' Are you sure' I get 'Something went wrong, unable to set up your pin' I can retry, which does the same again, or try again later.I cannot reinstall Windows as I need to access files and programs on the install.
