PC freezing and/or restarting while playing games

[Windows 10]

This issue started today, I was playing League of Legends on my PC when it randomly froze several times, disconnecting me from the server or something of that sort. This caused me to be unable to play for 5-15 seconds, like huge lag spikes. Sometimes this freeze caused my PC to fully turn off and restart for some reason.I have tried updating NVIDIA game drivers, and have also searched for malware/viruses using Norton.This has never been a problem previously and has started just recently. Please help!
