New Taskbar removed right-click functionality

I have Windows 11 Home, and there was just an update this week that has dramatically changed the Taskbar appearance and functionality, none of it for the better. There are three main issues I'm having:Minor, but the appearance is not good. Why are some tabs smaller than others? They used to be the same size, making it easy to see which ones are open. When you move your mouse to hover over a tab, a text bubble comes up that just repeats the name of the program.
