New motherboard, Windows 10 Pro to 11 Home

I am helping my friend upgrade their computer. Currently Windows 11 does not support their CPU so they are getting a new motherboard, CPU, and RAM.Unfortunately they also have a Windows 10 Pro OEM license so they will need to do a clean install of Windows using a newly purchased key.There is no reason for them to continue to use the Pro license and the upgrade is already expensive so they would like to upgrade to Windows 11 Home to save the $60.Will this cause any additional hiccups in the process or will a clean install cover it all?
