My main administrator account (one linked Microsoft account) has suddenly stopped displaying lockscreen pin and instead displays the words sign in.

My main administrator account (one linked Microsoft account) has suddenly stopped displaying lockscreen pin and instead displays the words sign in. When sign in is clicked it displays the ‘just a moment screen’ then reverts back to the sign in screen without the pin. I need to get back into this account.I recently got a prompt to add my university account to the accounts page, thinking it may have something to do with that. The computer was awake and when it went to sleep this suddenly appeared. I updated to the most recent update but was able to login after it had installed.
