Mic is having problems after update I think.

After a windows update, my microphone became unusually quiet. I've already run the troubleshooter, Disabled exclusive mode, turned off enhancements, boosted the mic, updated audio drivers, reinstalled them. and tested different mics. No applications are interfering, yet the issue persists. Any help?
