Laptop won’t connect to any monitor.

I have had a Dell G15 Ryzen Edition for a few years and the screen is broken and does not work but the keys and all other functions do. Because the screen doesn’t work, I have been using a monitor for it. Yesterday morning I did multiple updates that the circle with arrows(idk the name) told me to do. It looked like it was downloading many updates. I left it and checked on it a few hours later and the monitor screen had no signal for HDMI and VGA. I checked all the cable and connected other laptops to the monitor so I know the monitor is not the issue. I also have turned the computer on and o
