Keep receiving virus threats notifications when it's up to date. How do I get rid of this?

I am receiving notifications that Windows Defender has detected virus threats. But when I click on the notification that takes me to Windows Security, it shows that I am up to date on everything and that no threats have been detected. This is becoming quite annoying. Is there a way to correct this?Most of the advice I find in the forums advise that I go to the Scans folder in Microsoft Defender and delete the detection history. However, it doesn't give me permission to open the folder, even though this is my own personal laptop. I was able to go into the folder in Safe Mode and delete the dete
