How to get rid of false virus alerts

Every so often, sometimes every 25 seconds, an alert dialog pops up warning about a virus on my computer. Sometimes, not always, McAfee appears to be the source. But McAfee is not installed. Or any other anti-virus software. (outside of the standard Microsoft stuff) I visited: Settings -> virus & threat protection, and under “Virus & threat protection settings” is the text: “No action needed.” Regardless, I opened “Manage settings” and everything in there was turned on.Side note: In the images posted, note that the captured image is larger th
