KB5053598 will not install. I keep getting the message, opps something went wrong

KB5053598 will not install. I keep getting the message, opps something went wrong. This happens on my Acer laptop and my intel desktop. I have tried all the fixes and work arounds suggested. Stand alone installer, online disk clean up etc., etc,. and nothing works. Is MS working on this issue? This is beyond frustrating, and should be extreem;y embarassing to MS.
