If I set all files on OneDrive to 'Always keep on this device' and then uninstall OneDrive from my PC, will all the files still remain on the computer

Had to reinstall OneDrive as I was having a lot of problems with syncing, but then lost a lot of document data because of it, so I am trying to make it so that if I have to uninstall OneDrive again, I won't lose any data from documents I have worked on since it last synced successfully.Thanks
