I keep on having fps drops on my windows laptop

Hello I brought an HP envy x360 (costed 6200 aed ) for school and everything functioned fine until someone sprinkled magnesium powder on my computer on my computer. I took it to the service center, where they repaired and perform a factory reset. As school resumed after the winter break, my frame rate decreased substantially, and I was scrolling in word which was lagging really hard. Even when I play games at school (everyone does lol) Cool math games was lagging so hard. Before all this I could play war thunder in high graphics with about 60 fps. now I have to play low graphics at 30 fps. Sam
