How do I reinstall my HID-compliant touchpad?

I noticed my touchpad not working when I would slide my finger on it so I searched up different ways to fix it. I tried clicking f9, restarting my laptop, etc. I found in device manager that it said I had to reconnect the device to my laptop. So I uninstalled my HID-compliant touchpad but now I can’t figure out how to reinstall it.
