How do i get my audio and microphone to work at the same time on PC?

Hi! I just bought new headset, and i checked them on my phone first, and everything works perfectly, but when i tried them on my pc, i can only get the audio and microphone to work separately (either only audio, or only the mic) there are those 2 holes for the mic and for the headphones, i tried them both, but like i siad, they never work at the same time. and i can't think of what else can i do.
