How can i get my display adapter back?

Hello, I just picked up a new laptop (vivobook 15) and was trying to setup a second display and accidently uninstalled the original display adapter. When I first booted it up it supported 120hz and I was able to change the resolution etc. Now I am stuck with "microsoft basic display adapter" Ive looked at every video, every post, and even had a microsoft support guy screen capture my screen. If by some stretch of luck anyone has a fix or has an idea please let me know!
