Help! Clicking the "Sign In" button on the Startup Login Screen kicks back to the Lockscreen.

Hello!I just helped my friend (who's not very knowledgeable in the tech world) set up a new PC today. We had gotten everything installed and set up with his accounts and a good chunk of the programs he wanted. However, after a restart, we were met with this stupid issue that would plague us for the rest of the night. After booting the PC and clicking on the sign in after clicking on the lockscreen, we were immediately kicked back to the lockscreen. We couldn't find any way around this.So far, we have tried:-Booting in safe mode-Doing the No Network boot (pressing F5 on a page from the recovery
