Gateway Laptop flashing Gateway screen- won't boot

Hi, I have a Gateway laptop (model Gwtn156-1bk) that will not boot. It turns on and then flashes between the gateway logo and a black screen. It has flashed the Microsoft logo a couple times but then it shuts down. I've changed outlets, and forced a restart multiple times. I also tried FN keys to open a boot menu, but that immediately turns off the laptop. Is this fixable?
