All I said was "I suppose a purist would..."

If you could read (and comprehend) as well as write, you probably

wouldn't have argued that point because "right or wrong" was not the

issue. If you wish to argue about what a purist would or would not

insist on, you would still have to deal with the fact that it was also a

supposition on my part.

I think that your skills are needed more here:

And I'm sure your skills could be used, hmmmmmm, I can't think of any

place where your quality, skills, and abilities, would be of service or

use to anyone. Certainly, we (as people concerned with the decay of the

English language) should hope you have no responsibility for teaching

the English language to children or foreigners.

Of course, being the type of party you have now displayed yourself to

be [having been given the choice of showing stupidity and continuing;

or, changing your attitude from normal Usenet ignorance and activities],

YOU chose to continue while attempting to bend the thread to support

your claims. Perhaps you think "a purist" is one of the Usenet style of

posters, largely ignorant yet willing to post against others without

concern, being hidden behind the alias being used.

IF SO, you make wonderful example of "On the Internet nobody knows

you're a dog.". You have even gone the normal route of changing message

indicators and the infantile direction to some place you assume shows

some form of analogous representation of my posting style; further, I

would suppose you think that is cute, when it is in essence, moronic and

soporific.
