cursor freezing at random

so at random times (maybe once to six times in 5 minutes) my house cursor will just freeze for a second to a few seconds and will act like its frozen in place (when I say this I mean once it freezes it does not just clip to where it should be after the freeze I mean it just resumes following what I am trying to make it do) but it only happens when paying video games and I have tried reinstalling windows, drivers, I've tried calibrating settings and doing malware scans and nothing it happened after I dont know when it started but I do know that it is extremely annoying can anyone please help me
