Computer freezes with cursor working, then cursor freezes and the screen flashes black then goes back to normal repeatedly.

I’ve been having an issue where my computer screen will freeze, followed by the cursor freezing, then the computer will flash black and start working again. It starts this about 15 minutes after turning the computer on and repeats every 1-2 minutes. I have a really spec PC and cooling so I think it’s software involved.
