Can't sign into windows 11 home, keyboard frozen.

MS asked for a security sign in and I opted for a pin sign in. I created a new pin and I was able to sign into my laptop 3 or 4 times. Then MS asked to install updates. I restarted and installed the updates, and when it came to the sign in screen, I could not enter anything, the keyboard was frozen. Now I have been locked out of access to my laptop? I think MS should fix this as the updates rendered my laptop inaccessible, not to mention the time wasted, and the mission of contacting Microsoft.
