Can anyone help with an external hard drive issue (NOTE: I'm NOT a hardware or technical guru.......)

This will be long (apologies). I have a laptop running Windows 11. I have an external hard drive which I use for backing up my data - a Western Digital 'My Passport Wireless Pro'. Unbeknownst to me, WD stopped supporting 'My Passport Wireless Pro' drives back at end of Dec. 2024. A week or so ago, after an automatic windows update, I went to backup my data to my Passport and got a message..... A security setting is preventing this driver from loading' Driver is wdcsam64.sys. Note: my backup DID WORK, in spite of this message. When I researched it, I saw something on Microsoft
