Brightness slider works but brightness doesn't change till i reset (solved for now)

Hi there this issue started about a week ago probably due to one of the new windows 11 updates, since then my brightness won't change while I'm on and when I tried to reset THEN the brightness changed i experimented and found out the brightness updates when i black out my screen via reset or sleep mode.For context the brightness slider works and i haven't had issue like this ever from what i can see the brightness just refuses to update in real time
