I have both a black screen with cursor, but when i try to reset windows the admin password is wrong

I am having a nightmare.I am running a windows 10 machine with an AMD 6 core CPU ands a GeForce GTX 750ti GPU.I had an issue earlier where the device manager was saying the CPU drivers were disabled. So i tried to sort the driver issue out with windows update. But that kept failing. So i put the fault code into google and came up with a fix which was to download MediaCreationTool22H2.Kind of like a windows reset that left all my files and apps in place.Ran that and it seemed okay, installed updates from windows update and rebooted.But when i log in I got the black screen with cursor issue.Trie
