.zip files in Windows 11

I am unable to move or delete .zip files in Windows 11. If I single click, the screen goes back to the home screen. That's all that happens. I downloaded 7zip and if I double click a .zip file, I can extract or whatever. However, the screen still goes back to the home screen. What is going on here?
