Yesterday I noticed that my recycle bin was empty. I did not empty it. Wonder what caused my Recycle Bin to be emptied?

I have been using this PC for years and this has not happed before. I did not recently install any new programs. I saw one other recent post of another user having the same thing happening. Would really like to know what it going on.Thanks
