Hi, I have Windows 10 with Bitdefender and Malwarebytes subscription real time protection active. Everything was running fine until a few days ago. All of a sudden I was getting bombarded with notifications from Bitdefender saying.......
"Infected Web Resource Detected - the application wscript.exe accesses a web resource http://justprogamers.ddns.net:4790/is-ready that has been detected as infected. The web resource has been successfully blocked and your pc is now safe"
However, its like rapid fire every 5-10 seconds! -- so I tried going into task manager and ending the task for wscript.exe and when I do that everything seems to be fine. However, I don't want to have to MacGyver it every time I restart my PC.
My laptop is fairly new, its a HP and does have the recovery partition. I would prefer not to have to do a restore if it means I will lose all my already installed programs, mail settings etc etc.
Any advise folks?
