WORD: My entire text disappeared after using the spacing tool for paragraphs.

Text is only visible when the spacing tool is open and I hover over one of the line spacing choices. Document will not save due to issues and has gone from 2-3 pages in length to showing now showing to be 7 pages. Only 1 page viewable in navigation....it is blank.
