Word dictation not working after update

[Windows 11]

Since being forced to update to Windows 11, my Word dictation does not work. The microphone acts like it is working like it used to do, but is not. I have looked through the complicated solutions on here but I am hoping you have corrected your huge error and can give me some simple instructions for fixing this - otherwise Windows is of no use to me as this is something I need for work each day.
