Wondering if anyone else is having issues with media player 12. Use to work fine now takes 14 to 17 seconds to play video

Hi Everyone,So media player used to work fine but at some point (I'm assuming after a windows update) it has stopped working like it used to. If I select a video file to play you hear the audio but there isn't any video for approximately 14 to 17 seconds. It doesn't matter the what the length of the video file is either.All video drivers are up to date and I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. If looked at windows help sites and have tried every fix that the sites have suggested.Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?Thanks so much.Paul
