With new system installed , I can't remove the old hard drive. How do I move permissions to the new drive?

Old C drive couldn't boot. Probably corrupted files or disk drive getting old.I backed up the C drive to the NvMe drive installed on the motherboard. I installed a new C drive and installed Windows 10 startup has 2 operating systems to choose from. (only new system works)The new Windows 10 worked fine and I upgraded it to Windows 11Then I removed the NvMe and replaced it with a new project drive.Upon restart, computer opened directly to the Boot Manager.Then, I attached the old C drive to USB and restarted. Still opened directly into the Bios settingsChanged the USB external NvMe to Dri
