With an original OS DVD WIN 10 Pro for licensed HP? Still activation required on my HP-notebook?

Hallo team,On my old HP-notebook (HP Pavilion g series i3) with WIN 7, I've changed HDD to SSD in preparation for a handover to one of my godchildren. And installed WIN 10 Pro via an original OS DVD WIN Pro 10 (from 2016) without product key, but especially for use with a licensed HP or Compaq PC.
