Hi guys,
These past few days, I've been having a strange issue with my connection on my desktop after a power outage a couple days ago.
I'm currently running Windows 7 with a Netgear A7000 Nighthawk wireless USB network adapter- and my network router is extended by a Linksys router.
Before the outage, everything was working fine, and I was beginning to think my wireless network adapter was faulty.
I hastily ended up purchasing a new one, but even the new one was showing the same issues.
I tried fiddling with the settings myself, but I eventually noticed the Network Map layout changes between disconnections. I've attached two pictures of the more common, different layouts below:

- this one shows a connection to my network, the switch, and below that is my Linksys router.

- this other one shows a connection only to the Clan_McKenzie network without going through the Linksys router. I've also noticed disconnects happen more frequently in this state.
It's probably also worth noting that my other devices: laptops, tablets, and cellphones, have no problems maintaining a stable connection.
I've tried researching this issue, and I'm not really able to find any concrete answers or suggestions as to what the problem might be.
Thanks in advance for any assistance or help anyone can offer!
