Wireless Mouse Wakes Windows 11 up from sleep mode irrespective of being deactivated

I unchecked the "allow this device to wake the computer" for my wireless mouse and keyboard, however, my mouse and keyboard still wakes my windows 11 laptop on from sleep mode. what should I do?
