Windows10 not re-activating on new Hardware

Hi, I'm having trouble re-activating my Windows 10 version after changing hardware and installing the OS to a new drive. How I can get my digital license key to activate?Here's the sequence of events: 1. had originally purchased windows 7 in 2015 and did the free upgrade to windows10 when that was originally offered. Afaik, that should have assigned a digital license key?
