Hi,

I've set up a computer as a VPN server to accept incoming connections. It appears to be listening on the PPTP port (1723) - if I type netstat -a it is listening on that port.

However, I can't seem to connect to the server. It does appear to communicate with the server but won't end up completing the connection. The exact error message is "A connection to the remote computer could not be established. You might need to change the network settings for this connection."

If I give it the wrong password it actually comes back and asks for the right password - so that is how I know it is communicating with the server.

I've also tried to connect from multiple clients on totally different networks.

I have a VPN set up on another network in a physically different location but almost identical hardware. Didn't have any of these problems when I set that one up.
