December 2009 Cummulative Update SharePoint

After the below patches were run, and it said 2 services failed to restart,

so to run the setup again. Enabled services and reran the wizard. No

indication of a problem until you try to edit webpages.

Error when I try to open any .aspx page from any site or website using

Designer. Impossible to edit aspx files now using Designer.

soap:ServerServer was unable to process request. ---> Bad IL range.

Cummulative Patches causing this error:

First do:

WSS30_386540intl_i386_zip.exe

Second do:

MOSS_388488_intl_i386_zip.exe

office-kb971537-fullfile-x86-glb.exe

wss-kb971538-fullfile-x86-glb.exe

Anybody have a solution besides rebuilding the entire server?

Seems similar to same issue because the updates are not installing correctly.

Dale,

Is there a reason you keep responding to posts with this? Start one of your

own and describe your situation in full detail. [;]-)
